What this audit is

This is a free diagnostic tool that examines the structured-data signals AI systems and search engines use to interpret your hotel as a recognisable entity. It looks at what Google understands about your property, the schema on your homepage, your Wikidata entry, Wikipedia presence, OpenStreetMap record, and how consistently those sources describe the same hotel.

The intent is to surface gaps that affect machine readability. That infrastructure layer becomes more important as AI assistants and generative-search interfaces shape how guests find hotels.

What it isn’t

It is not a measure of how well your hotel performs commercially. Your score does not reflect bookings, reviews, ADR, or guest satisfaction. Those are driven by very different factors: your reputation on review platforms, your OTA presence, your direct-booking strategy, and the quality of your offer itself.

It is not a real-time test of whether AI assistants can answer questions about your hotel. We check structured signals that correlate with AI readability, not the AI’s own outputs.

It does not audit your room-page schema, your booking engine, or any content beyond your homepage. Those are deeper analyses we do for clients.

It does not predict the timing or scale of any commercial impact from machine-readability gaps. Many hotels with low scores here trade well right now. The signal is about long-term resilience as discovery shifts.
